A lot of the time when he and I talk on the phone, I'll start venting about feminist related topics (slut shaming, rape culture, birth control) and he'll vent with me about how frustrated it makes him. If he's not familiar with an issue, he asks me about it and is genuinely interested in learning more. He supports what I do for work (counseling and protecting sexual assault victims) and it means so much to me. Sexists sleep alone!
